nora systems, Inc. has promoted Peter Diehm and James McCarthy into new management positions.
Diehm has accepted the position of global compliance manager and will report to the management board of nora systems GmbH in Weinheim, Germany. The German native moved to the United States in 2001 and worked as a logistics/materials planning analyst for nora before being named manager of purchasing and materials planning in 2008.
“This move fulfills Peter’s desire to return to Germany with his family,” said Heidi Anderson, human resource manager. “Although the North American team is sad to see him leave, we are delighted that this newly created position will help Peter realize his dream to return to Germany while keeping him on the nora team.”
McCarthy will replace Diehm as manager of purchasing and materials planning. McCarthy joined nora in 2011 and has held positions as inventory control/materials planning analyst and market segment specialist in transportation. In his new role, McCarthy will report to Phil Macy, vice president of finance and operations.
“James has been working closely with Peter since 2011, so we are confident he will experience a smooth transition into his new position,” said Anderson. “James brings with him the skills and experience to excel in this role and support the financial goals of the company.”
