While we’ve become more aware of the importance of acoustics in design, little research exists to address in-room impact noise. However, a recent study from nora® flooring takes look at room acoustics and the impact flooring can have on reducing sound. Our comprehensive approach tested multiple flooring types using various noise sources, helping to develop a new testing standard for in-room impact noise.
