The Buddy Holly Hall of Performing Arts | 1300 Mac Davis Ln, Lubbock, TX 79401 

A state-of-the-art venue, the Buddy Holly Hall of Performing Arts and Sciences has opened in Lubbock. Totaling 220,000 square feet, the hall—the first of its size and type in the region—was planned and designed by internationally recognized theatre design firm Schuler Shook, architectural firms Diamond Schmitt Architects, Parkhill and MWM Architects, along with acoustician Jaffe Holden. Located in the heart of Downtown Lubbock, Buddy Holly Hall features two notable theatres, an expandable lobby and a multipurpose, divisible event room, all of which can be programmed simultaneously. The newly opened venue has partnered with community users and includes a 22,000-square-foot dance center, home to Ballet Lubbock, and the 2,000-square-foot Rave On restaurant, now open to the public.

Tangram/BKM Total Office | 9755 Clifford Dr, Suite 100, Dallas, TX 25220 

Tangram recently acquired BKM Total Office of Texas, expanding into the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, which will become Tangram’s regional headquarters. BKM currently operates within four facilities, with the headquarters office spanning over 44,000 square feet and three main warehouse spaces totaling 120,000 square feet. The business currently has 48 employees who have received rollover contracts via Tangram. The company will bring its expertise in healthcare, education and commercial spaces to the DFW market.

AC Hotel Fort Worth Downtown | 101 W 5th St, Fort Worth, TX 76102 

AC Hotel Fort Worth is a 16-story new hotel located right next to downtown Fort Worth’s Sundance Square that includes 254 guestrooms, bar, meeting functions and top floor event space with incredible views. Merriman Anderson Architects’ design team implemented a modern design using a combination of materials to allow the new building to blend with the adjacent historic structures downtown. To pay tribute to Fort Worth’s rich history, miscellaneous accessories, books and art pieces can be found throughout the entire hotel that reflect the city’s roots, such as the light fixtures on the first-floor elevator lobby that are reminiscent of a cowboy hat.

The Otis Hotel and Autograph Collection | 1901 San Antonio St, Austin, TX 78705 

Opened in 2021, The Otis Hotel, Autograph Collection and AC Hotel Austin is a dual-branded hotel by Marriott hotels designed by HKS. Highlights include a 4,000-square-foot rooftop deck—complete with an outdoor pool, bar and terrace—that will deliver spectacular views of the University of Texas campus. AC will also add to the University of Texas area by providing a premium hotel experience that the community craves. It will serve business and leisure travelers alike with a lobby-level bar and lounge and a multi-function space with light dining and coffee. The hotels will provide a combined 347 rooms, 6,500 square feet of meeting space and a full-service restaurant with outdoor seating and casual walk-up options.
