5 New Projects on the Vegas Strip Winning the Hospitality Game
We’re officially breaking the age-old rule about “what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas,” because with the openings of the following new or remodeled hotels, casinos and restaurants, we just can’t keep them a secret. Learn more about how these five projects are reinvigorating the hospitality experience on the Las Vegas Strip.
1. New York-New York | 3790 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109
New York-New York recently launched a $63 million room remodel project of its 1,830 rooms and 155 of its suites on the Las Vegas strip. The accommodations feature vibrant new designs crafted by hospitality design firm HVS Design in partnership with MGM Resorts International Design Group. The design aesthetic draws inspiration from the energy and excitement of two of the world’s great cities—Las Vegas and New York City. The remodel features design details that harken to New York City, such as rooms with exposed faux brick walls and accent colors such as Big Apple Red and Taxicab Yellow. These elements subtly bring the ‘City that Never Sleeps’ to life in the Entertainment Capital of the World. Reflecting a thoughtful use of space, rooms will incorporate modern conveniences such as moveable work surfaces, readily available USB/USB-C power outlets and additional shelving and closet space.
2. MGM Grand Hotel & Casino | 3799 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109
3. Easy’s Cocktail Lounge | 3730 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89158
4. Ocean Prime Las Vegas | 3716 S Las Vegas Blvd #401, Las Vegas, NV 89158
5. Stanton Social Prime | 3570 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109
Stanton Social Prime at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas opened its doors earlier this year, adding a decadent new chic dining destination to Sin City. Designed by renowned architecture and design firm Rockwell Group, Stanton Social Prime draws inspiration from the original restaurant on New York’s Lower East Side and the Las Vegas Strip, with a modern nod to Art Deco style and dramatic showmanship. Guests enter the 200-seat space through the velvet curtain to the main dining room featuring bold colors of ruby red, sapphire blue and gold with rich textures and patterns found in extravagant costume design. The 10-seat bar spotlights top-shelf spirits and a globe-spanning wine list. Additionally, the two private dining rooms transport guests to their own backstage salon with decorative paneling evocative of a dressing room screen.
