Luxury fashion accessories brand opens in Orlando.
ORLANDO, FLA. -- Carmen Steffens, a leading luxury shoe, handbag and accessories brand based in Brazil with more than 250 stores globally, selected TPG Architecture to execute the design of the brand's first Florida boutique. Located in Orlando's Mall at Millenia, the 1,400 square foot store, which will formally celebrate its opening on August 1, features exclusive, handcrafted products curated specifically for the Orlando market.
TPG partnered with Carmen Steffens' in-house architectural team to implement the brand's retail design concept. All of the design materials are imported from Brazil and serve as a subtle backdrop for the brand's playfully sensual, fashion-forward footwear and leather goods. Cumaru, a Brazilian exotic hardwood, boldly frames the storefront. Geometric wood panels clad the walls and angular display fixtures, providing a warm counterpoint to imported porcelain tile floors and sleek stainless steel accents. Elegant leather seating, framed full-length mirrors, and a richly-toned area rug add residential touches to the space. A dynamic video wall greets guests at the store entry, displaying "making of" video clips from the most recent Carmen Steffens marketing campaign.
"Carmen Steffens is an important and fast-growing international fashion brand. We are excited to have the opportunity to help introduce them to the United States market," says Diana Revkin, retail studio director with TPG Architecture. "The brand's strong creative vision and commitment to quality resonate with our own design philosophy at TPG Architecture and we look forward to working together on more projects in the future."
