J+J Flooring Group has named Daniel Metzger as Director of Design. Metzger will focus on leading the design development of commercial flooring for the company’s corporate, education, healthcare, retail, and hospitality markets.
Metzger moves into the position from his previous role as J+J Flooring Group Senior Designer. Metzger has more than 20 years of experience in floorcovering design with J+J Flooring Group as well as other carpet companies. He has an extensive background in developing product lines and custom patterns for the hospitality, corporate workplace, healthcare, and education markets and brings an expansive knowledge of yarn systems, tufting operations, and pattern development to his new role.

A graduate of Philadelphia University in Textile Design, Metzger also attended the Savannah College of Art & Design. He currently lives in Chattanooga, Tenn.
