Fritz Hansen’s PK23 chair, designed by the late Poul Kjærholm in 1954 and realized recently for consumers, features wide, low-profile laminated veneer shells for the seat and back in black ash, walnut, or oak. A double-bracket connector bridges the backrest, paired with a stainless steel or black powder-coated base.
