Coeur d’Alene (CDA) Wood is an Idaho-based brand that offers sustainable wood products to the American market. After recognizing the challenges around sourcing quality reclaimed wood, co-founder Chris Bartimioli developed a patented, non-toxic finishing process that exposes raw lumber to the natural elements of sun, soil, water and wind, rather than VOCs, lead paint, stains or treatments. This creates aged wood that is durable, affordable and chemical-free. CDA Wood has proven to be less toxic than wood that has not gone through their proprietary Xcelerated process (due to the utilization of UV-C light) and improves indoor air quality, available in accent walls, barn doors and much more.
The brand practices sustainable forestry, planting four trees for every tree used, while all wood scraps are sold to major retailers for repurposed use.
