Born of a collaboration between Infinity Drain and Gensler, Adhesion is inspired by the science of adhesion, where water droplets stick to surfaces to form unique patterns. To develop the abstract visual, the design team poured water on select surfaces to observe how the droplets moved and gathered. The pattern that evolved has an even distribution of irregularity to create a look at once random and precise. The spacing of the pattern allows water to flow effortlessly and delivers a sleek, attractive aesthetic that blends seamlessly while adding visual interest to the shower environment.
