• i+s Editor Lauren Brant's Product Pick of the Week: Mohawk's Taking Root LVT

Our product guru's selection this week is inspired by mushrooms.
    April 3, 2024

Mohawk Group's Taking Root luxury vinyl tile collection offers three biophilic-inspired styles: Transfiguration, MycoTexture and Zone Lines. Transfiguration and MycoTexture draw from mushroom structures and mycelium growth, while Zone Lines is inspired by veining on spalted maple trees. Available in Flex 2.5 mm and Flex 4.5 mm platforms, the 18 in. x 36 in. LVT transitions to soft surfaces. Additionally, Zone Lines comes in a 9 in. x 59 in. plank. The collection includes 2.5 mm, 4.5 mm and 6 mm (5 mm and 1 mm attached pad) rigid click LVT, offering water resistance. With a 105% Beyond Carbon Neutral handprint and 45% lower embodied carbon than the industry average, Taking Root boasts a 20-mm heavy commercial wear layer and M-Force Ultra technology for stain, water, scratch and fade resistance.
