Joe Kilby, assistant director, ACT

As assistant director of the Association for Contract Textiles, Joe Kilby facilitates and supports all ACT technical work groups and subgroups, as well as educational initiatives that include development of CEUs and White Papers.

John J. Rowan, Jr., president, Rowan Consulting Group

Mr. Rowan is an accomplished veteran of the commercial interiors industry with over 35 years of experience. He has held management roles in sales, marketing and product development for several leading firms. He began his career in 

commercial furniture and worked for both manufacturers and dealers, including a position as Executive Vice President for a Knoll dealership. Rowan continued his career in the contract textiles side of the industry and over a 14 year period held various positions including V.P. Sales, Director of Marketing and Advanced 

Product Development with a leading mill manufacturer, Guilford of Maine/Interface Fabrics Group. He went on to spend over 14 years as Director of Sales and Product Development for a leading distributor of high performance contract textiles, C.F. Stinson. He is currently working as an independent consultant to the industry through Rowan Consulting Group. In addition, 

Mr. Rowan has been a member on the Executive Board for the Association for Contract Textiles for 14 years, having also served as President of the industry trade organization for 3 years. He is highly regarded for his extensive knowledge of textiles and has been responsible for many award winning textile performance innovations throughout his career.

Eduardo Elizando, Vice President of Operations, Momentum Textiles and Wallcovering

Mr. Elizondo is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University and has worked in the contract textile industry for over 16 years. He started his career with Momentum Textiles and Wallcovering in 2004 as their Sales Representative in New York City. He has since held various management roles with the company; first serving as Marketing Director for 5 years and since 2013 as Vice President of Operations.

For the last 8 years, Mr. Elizondo has been a member of the Executive Board for the Association for Contract Textiles also serving as Treasurer for the association. His leadership and involvement reflect his passion for continuing education within the contract textile industry and design profession.
