GALLERY | 2024 BDNY Exhibits: Organic Elegance on Display

Nov. 21, 2024
The boutique hospitality sector engaged the BDNY crowd with a plethora of patterns, colors, and textures grounded by nature-inspired designs for distinctive interiors.

As I stepped into the exhibit hall at the Jacob K. Javits Center for Boutique Design New York (BDNY) in early November, I felt like Dorothy moving from the grainy black-and-white of the Kansas farm to Technicolor Oz—in the best way. Given that BDNY was my first attended event as part of the i+s team, I hope I might be forgiven for not concentrating solely on the newest products out on the show floor. With so much to see and learn in one day, I’ve created a snapshot of the displays I found particularly compelling. The vendors surely met the brief, demonstrating their passion for functional, durable products that go beyond beauty to achieve purposeful and memorable design.
