Recently, I was granted the opportunity to join the Tile of Spain Manufacturer’s Association’s “Passport to Creativity” trip, which centered around the legacy and expertise of specialists in the ceramic and porcelain industry in Valencia and Castellón.
The first day of the trip featured a combination bus/walking tour of Valencia from an architect’s point of view. Hosted by urban and landscape architect Adrián Torres Astaburuaga, the Tile of Spain guests—an assortment of architects, interior designers, and journalists—delighted in the details that proved Valencia is a region that celebrates its contrasts.
