Ligne Roset Chicago and Be Original Americas have collaborated to host a dynamic panel on Tuesday, October 7 that will explore the ripple effect of counterfeit design. The panel, “Make the Future an Original,” will start at 6 p.m. at Ligne Roset Chicago, 440 North Wells St., Chicago, IL 60653.
Moderated by Erika Templeton, editorial director for Interiors & Sources, the panel will discuss how counterfeit design impacts innovation, prevents young designers from breaking into the market, and diminishes the quality of products for consumers. They will also delve into what can be done now to prevent knock-offs from flourishing and to make sure the design future remains bright.
