Oct. 1, 2007
Experts from KI and two educational facilities recently presented a series of seminars on trends in higher education learning environments. The sessions focused on the role learning spaces have on student success. Facility planners, procurement professionals, faculty members, educational administrators, architects and interior designers attended the KI-sponsored events at Colorado College, the University of Denver, Brigham Young University, Weber State University and the University of Utah. "Traditional models and environments for teaching and learning will continue to undergo significant evolution over the next decade. These seminars were developed to provide information, examples and insights as well as stimulate dialogue that will help higher education and design professionals implement the necessary changes on their campuses," says Nat Porter, vice president of education markets, KI.
