Pratt Institute has developed a new MS program in museums and digital culture, the first of its kind nationwide to focus on the use of digital technology and media in museums. The program, housed in Pratt’s newly renamed School of Information, builds on 125 years of experience in the field of information and library science.
Pratt strives to anticipate trends in the fast-moving information age. Changes in the museum field have resulted in an intense digital focus on user engagement, participation, and education. The new program and focus of the school will address the growing need for cultural institutions to bring technology to the museum-going public.
