The Torto's airflow pattern is different from your typical ceiling fan. It pushes air at an angle, not straight down, allowing you to feel far more airflow when standing next to it than when you are directly underneath it. (As with any fan, airflow is increased if the fan is installed with a longer downrod.)
At a high speed, The Torto has an airflow of 4400 cubic feet per minute; it only uses 58 watts (excluding lighting), and features an airflow efficiency of 76 cubic feet per minute per watt.
The Torto is available in an oil-rubbed bronze finish with an opal frosted glass fixture, as well as a metro gray finish with an opal frosted glass lighting fixture. It has a 52-inch blade sweep and a varying blade pitch.
The Torto accommodates ceiling slopes up to 30 degrees.
