Design-savvy options for any budget

BKLYN DESIGNS has evolved immensely since its infancy more than 10 years ago, growing to become a powerful component of May’s annual NYCxDesign event series. Housed at the Brooklyn Expo Center from May 5-7, it encompasses dozens of exhibitors focusing on not just the home but also commercial markets in need of a residential feel. All of the following manufacturers and products can be found at this year’s show.

Wee Cosy

Makers Market

The adorable Wee Cosy from Scotland-based Makers Market is just one of many uses for its brightly patterned, eco-friendly textiles. It is screen printed with water-based inks on 100-percent natural cotton canvas, used to keep contents of a teapot warm.
