Benjamin Moore Showroom 3

New Benjamin Moore Showroom in New York

Aug. 10, 2018

Notable paint company Benjamin Moore’s newest showroom in Manhattan aims to be a collaborative, inspirational space for designers.

Near the end of June, Benjamin Moore opened a new showroom located in the New York Design Center in Midtown Manhattan. The 3000-square-foot showroom aims to provide a space for designers to work, bring their customers to meet, and review projects. Meant to offer color inspiration and product education, the showroom will include the following key areas:

Color Gallery – Upon entrance to the showroom, rotating artwork will be on display featuring Benjamin Moore paint. Current artwork features Benjamin Moore Aura paint designed by members of Alpha Workshops.

Product and Color Decision – This area offers product brochures and sample boards along with a color library, work tables, and a color selection light box to aid in the color and product decision process.

Color Vault – Reminiscent of a bank, this full room is dedicated to color section featuring a high-tech color selection light box, work table, and 4000+ designer color sheets. The state-of-the-art technology makes it easy to view and source a wide array of colors.

Color Inspiration – These three rotating library vignettes feature Benjamin Moore product and color. The trio of colorful reading rooms currently displays Benjamin Moore CENTURY paint designed by Ellen O’Neill, Benjamin Moore’s director of strategic design intelligence.

Classroom – This room is to be used as an education, presentation, and meeting space. It can hold up to 50 people and can be configured in numerous ways.

The new showroom is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. All Benjamin Moore showrooms are stocked with a wide variety of color sheets and fan decks, specialized lighting, and numerous publications on color and design. In addition, its showrooms are a venue for design events held throughout the year, including CEU courses and informational seminars.
